Yuri Bortnikov is a partner at TRUBOR Law Firm. Before joining TRUBOR Yuri, who has over 18 years of legal experience, was a partner at a leading Russian law firm, worked as a lawyer in the European Court of Human Rights, at the United Nations and at a commercial litigation law firm in Moscow.

He specializes in resolution of disputes, M&A and joint venture transactions, banking & finance and restructuring work. He regularly advises and represents international clients on a range of legal issues in relation to their projects in Russia. He further assists Russian clients, including largest Russian private companies and high net worth individuals, in directing and coordinating transactions and legal proceedings outside of Russia.
