Advocates of Trubor law firm successfully obtained anti-suit injunction (ASI) in Russian commercial (arbitrazh) court.

Our Client filed a claim for recovery of damages against foreign bank J.P. Morgan SE with Russian commercial (arbitrazh) court. Foreign bank initiated parallel court proceedings in German court aimed at derailing the court proceedings in Russian court.

Advocates of Trubor law firm successfully applied for ASI. Russian court ordered foreign bank to withdraw the claims in German court. The Russian court ASI is supported by a EUR 67 million fine, which is meant to secure compliance of the foreign bank with the Russian court order.
