Zhanna Britvina is an associate at TRUBOR Law Firm.

Zhanna focuses on a wide range of corporate, regulatory, commercial and employment law issues including advising foreign companies on establishing legal presence and doing business in Russia.

Zhanna has experience assisting both Russian and foreign companies in structuring transactions including business restructuring, joint ventures and M&A. She has also worked on banking and finance as well as IP and data privacy matters.

Before joining TRUBOR following its foundation in 2016, Zhanna gained a three-year experience in a leading Russian law firm.

In 2014 Zhanna graduated from Kutafin Moscow State Law University (MSAL) with honors and is qualified to practice law in the Russian Federation. Zhanna speaks Russian (native), English (fluent) and German (fluent).

Examples of Zhanna's projects are as follows:

  • Advising the buyer in transaction on acquisition of a real estate object, located in one of the Southern districts of Russia structured through acquisition of control over a foreign holding company being a shareholder in a Russian company owning a title to a real estate object.

  • Advising the foreign company on the risks of acquiring business of Russian private schools working on the English curriculum.
  • Advising the foreign company on the change of the general director of its local entity including legal assistance on regulatory matters and employment law matters.

  • Advising the Russian investment company on the risks of the current contractual structure with its clients and amending the contractual structure to mitigate the existing risks.
