The state forest supervision authority brought the client of Trubor Law Firm to administrative responsibility for unauthorized occupation of the forest area, obliged him to dismantle the real estate object located on it and to perform the site recultivation. This decision has put the client's business at risk. It also served as the basis to claim an environmental compensation for the damage caused and became the reason to initiate a criminal case on the fact of forest plantations illegal logging.
The arbitration court of the Tyumen region recognized the decision of the administrative authority as legal, but in the court of appeal the lawyers of Trubor Law Firm managed to prove that the client uses the forest plot lawfully, and that there are no grounds for bringing him to administrative responsibility.
